Congratulations to the High School Girls and Boys Track Team for their performances at the Cairo High School Relays. Preslee Brubaker earned a first-place finish in the high jump. The 400-meter relay team of Caroline Ellison, Preslee Brubaker, Avery Martin and Gracie Brumley earned a second-place finish, and the 1600-meter relay team of Morgan Wortmann, Paige Luntsford, Breanne Moore, and Allison Dunwoody earned a third-place finish.
Conner Adams earned a second-place finish in the discus. Trace Ackley earned a third-place finish in the shot put. Brandon Dennis earned first place finishes in both the 100- and 200-meter dashes. Logan Head earned first place finishes in the 110-meter-high hurdles and 300-meter low hurdles. , and third place in the triple jump. Logan Luecke earned a third-place finish in the 1600-meter run, and the 400-meter relay team of Justin Thrasher, Logan Head, Trace Ackley, and Brandon Dennis earned a first-place finish.
