Ms. Hesson’s class started off their fiction comprehension unit with a book tasting! Students went around different stations and got a “taste” of each book to decide whether it was a fiction or non-fiction text. Students then debriefed as a group to talk about the different elements to a fiction text and how it looks different from non-fiction.
